Bedding is the fit of the barreled action and the stock.

The better this fit is made the more stable and accurate the gun will be. If the wood/fiberglass to metal fit is not where you would like it, it can be improved using an epoxy based material.

The better the wood/fiberglass to metal fit is the longer the stock will last.
